Overview
Do you need to replace your old tea bag? Would you like to protect your teas? Check out our tea bags, which are designed for storing loose or compressed teas. The tea bag consists of a top zip closure, an outer paper layer and an inner plastic layer with a transparent plastic window. The tea bag provides medium protection against oxygen and moisture, making it suitable for short- and medium-term storage of teas. All tea bags are food-grade certified. Each tea bag can provide the space for approximately 100-150 g of tea, depending on the type and process.
Use and Maintenance
Each tea bag is equipped with a zip closure that can either be sealed using an impulse sealer or reopened using the pre-cut tear line. When storing compressed teas long-term, ensure that:
- The tea wrapper is properly sealed and intact.
- Excess air in the tea wrapper is minimized.
- The tea is stored in a dry, dark, and odour-free environment.
- Tea bags containing similar types of compressed teas are stored together.
