Overview
Premium sheng puer tea from Mangzhi Tea Mountain (莽枝), which was pressed in the spring of 2022. The tea leaves come from mature tea trees (qiaomu 桥木) and were processed by Shanshan's friend Meng. Meng belongs to the Yi ethnic group (彝族) and focuses on producing teas from Mengla (勐腊). The tea is sold in the form of a 200 g pressed cake (bingcha 饼茶), which is suitable for long-term storage.
Tea profile (akt. 16-11-2024)
- Aroma: Sweet flower-herbal scent with mild smoky tones
- Colour: The tea transitions from transparent golden-white tones to bright ochre-honey shades
- Taste: Citrusy (quince and grapefruit) and herbs (plantain and lemon grass) turning into smoky tones of baked fruit and vegetable (orange and eggplant)
