Overview
Premium sheng puer tea from Yibang Tea Mountain (倚邦), which was pressed in the spring of 2024. The tea leaves come from mature tea trees (qiaomu 桥木) and were processed by Shanshan's friend Meng. Meng belongs to the Yi ethnic group (彝族) and focuses on producing teas from Mengla (勐腊). The Yibang teas (倚邦) are often characterized by a distinctive sweet-fruity profile. The tea is sold in the form of a 200 g pressed cake (bingcha 饼茶), which is suitable for long-term storage.
Tea profile (akt. 11-11-2024)
- Aroma: Pleasant herbal-flower scent with woody-honey tones
- Colour: The tea transitions from sparkling golden tones to bright ochre-honey shades
- Taste: Dried herbs (chamomile, plantain and dandelion) and citrusy juice (lemon) turning into flower-honey tones
