Overview
Royal sheng pu-erh tea from the Bulang tea mountain area (布朗), which was harvested in the spring of 2021. The tea leaves come from ancient tea trees (gushu 古树) and were processed by Shanshan's cousin Yukan. Yukan belongs to the Bulang ethnic minority (布朗) and focuses on producing teas from the new tea mountains areas, particularly Bada (巴达), Bulang (布朗), Mengsong (勐宋) and Nannuo (南糯) mountain areas. The Bulang teas are often characterized by a distinctive smokiness and bitter-sweet profile. The tea is sold in the form of 100 g compressed tea cake (bingcha 饼茶), which is suitable for long-term storage. The tea cake is pressed in a way that you may easily break it into smaller pieces without using the tea knife or tea needle.

- Aroma: Honey scent with mild smoky tones
- Colour: The tea transitions from transparent yellow-orange tones to darker golden-ochre shades
- Taste: Citruses (lemon) and herbs (lemon grass and chamomile) with taste of sweet tobacco, wet hay and sweet caramel candies
