Product detailed description
Overview
Unique tribal sheng puer tea from the Nannuo Tea Mountain (南糯山), which was produced in the spring of 2024. The tea is called Laopaka (老帕卡), Hani term for large old tea leaves from ancient tea trees (gushu 古树). The tea was processed by Shanshan's cousin Chunyan. Chunyan belongs to the Hani ethnic minority (哈尼) and focuses on producing teas from the Menghai (勐海) tea area. The Nannuo teas (南糯) are often characterized by a distinctive fruity-flower profile. The tea is sold in the form of a bianzicha (辫子茶), a long braid of tea in the shape of a snail. The tea is suitable for long-term shortage. Each bianzicha weights about 115 g (± 10%). Limited quantity.
Tea profile (akt. 25-09-2024)
- Aroma: Smoked hay-wood scent with mild fruity-honey tones
- Colour: The tea changes between yellow-green-white tones to transparent golden shades
- Taste: Sugarcane lemonade, pumpkin spice latte and cherries with a hint of autumn leaves and honey
