Overview
Premium sheng puer tea from Mangzhi Tea Mountain (莽枝), which was pressed in the spring of 2023. The tea leaves come from mature tea trees (qiaomu 桥木) and were processed by Shanshan's tea mentor, Liang. Liang belongs to the Han ethnic group (汉族), which produces premium and limited tea editions from new and ancient tea mountains. Youle (攸乐) teas can be characterized by a distinctive flower-fruity profile with slower development of taste.

This tea comes from the limited edition "Six Ancient Tea Mountains" (guliu dachashan 古六大茶山), comprising six tea cakes: Yibang (倚邦), Yiwu (易武), Mangzhi (莽枝), Gedeng (革登), Manzhuan (蛮砖), and Youle (攸乐), which we now sell both individually or as a set. Although the year 2023 negatively impacted the overall tea harvest due to extreme drought, the dry weather positively contributed to the improvement of the tea's flavor characteristics, which you can experience yourself. The tea is sold in the form of a pressed cake (bingcha 饼茶) weighing 100 grams, which is suitable for long-term storage.

• Aroma: Medium flower-herbal scent with mild smoky tones
• Colour: The tea transitions from sparkling golden tones to bright ochre-honey shades
• Taste: Dry nuts (pine nuts and macadamia nuts), herbs (plantain) and flowers (lilies and lotus flowers) turning into meaty vegetable-smoky tones (baked pork skin, baked potatoes and baked eggplant on an open fire)
