Overview
Premium sheng puer tea from the Mengsong Tea Mountain (勐宋), which was harvested in the spring of 2016. The tea leaves are from old tea trees (dashu 大树 and gushu 古树) and were processed by Shanshan's long-term friend Xiaolong. Xiaolong belongs to the Hani ethnic group (哈尼) and focuses on producing teas from the Menghai area (勐海), particularly from the Mengsong (勐宋) where he comes from. Mengsong teas (勐宋) can be characterized by a distinctive flower-fruity profile with a slightly sour aftertaste. The tea is sold in the form of 357 g tea cake (bingcha 饼茶) that can be stored in the long term.

- Aroma: Intense honey scent with mild smoky fragrance
- Colour: The tea changes between transparent orange-ochre tones to bring honey shades
- Taste: Wood (wood ash, roasted bamboo and other mineral feelings from the open fire) and juicy fruit (pineapple) turning into brown sugar and forest honey
