Overview
Premium sheng puer tea from the ancient tea village of Zhanglang (章朗), which was harvested in the autumn of 2023. The tea leaves come from ancient tea trees (gushu 古树) and were hand-picked and processed by Shanshan's cousin Yushan. Yushan belongs to the Bulang ethnic group (布朗) and focuses on producing teas from the Bada (巴达) tea area, which are characterized by a distinctive citrus, smoky, and fruity profile. The tea is sold in the form of 200 g tea cakes (bingcha 饼茶), which is suitable for long-term storage.
Tea profile (akt. 05-07-2024)
- Aroma: Mild smoky scent with flower-fruit tones
- Colour: The tea changes between yellow-orange tones to transparent honey-ochre shades
- Taste: Fresh citruses (pomelo and orange), ripe fruit (mango and pear), vegetable (tomato sauce and olives) turning into sweet tobacco and wooden tones

Tento čaj pijeme od srpna a je optimální pro horko. Hodnotím ho jako opravdu málo kofeinový, pozdější nálevy vhodné na dobré spaní. Z naší tvrdší (vodivost okolo 1000 uS.cm-1) filtrované vody tmavší nálev, z horské říční vody ze Šumavy s konduktivitou okolo 50 spíše světlejší a trpčí nálev (což mi chutná). Chuť není výrazná ale je příjemná, běžně čaj pijeme dva dny. Chystám se koupit celý koláč.... Ondřej
