Overview
Premium sheng puer tea from Banzhang village (老班章) from Bulang Tea Mountain (布朗), which was pressed in the spring of 2020. The tea leaves come from arbor tea trees in organic quality (shengtai 生态) and were processed by Yibang Manor (倚邦庄园) tea factory, which was established in 2014 by Shanshan's classmate Yongwei. Yongwei belongs to the Yi ethnic group (彝族), which produces premium and royal quality teas from ancient tea mountains. His production belongs to one of the best from Xishuangbanna, which you can currently find at us. The tea is sold in the form of a pressed tea cake (bingcha 饼茶) weighing 357 g, which is suitable for long-term storage.
Tea profile (akt. 04-07-2024)
- Aroma: A mild smoky scent with floral notes (herbs, cornflower, and spring blossoms) and caramel-fruity tones (green apple, citrus peel, and sour fruit candies)
- Colour: The tea transitions from sparkling golden tones to light yellow-orange shades
- Taste: Flowers (chamomile, dandelion, and liquorice), dried olives, burlap, and vegetable tones (nettle) turning into nectar from raw stone fruits (mango, apricot, and mirabelle plums), sweet tobacco, and wood pulp.
