Product detailed description
Overview
A delicious shu puer tea from the Bulang Tea Mountain (布朗), which was pressed in the autumn of 2013. This tea was generously provided to us by Qiong, who sources her teas from her relatives living in the Menghai (勐海) area. We have known Qiong since 1998, and during our work trip to Xishuangbanna at the beginning of 2025, we met with her several times over a cup of tea. This tea has a dark orange-ochre color and sweet honey aroma. The tea tastes like roasted chestnuts, brown sugar and cacao pudding. This tea has a very smooth body texture, sweet woody aftertaste and less-earthy tones, a very desirable mix of flavours for highly demanded shu puer teas.
