Product detailed description
Overview
Delicious shu puer from the Damenglong (大勐龙), a remote border area between China and Myanmar. The tea was pressed in summer 2021. The tea was generously provided by Liu Chengdong, one of the certified tea masters and chairman of the tea association in Xishuangbanna, whom we met during our work trip to Xishuangbanna at the beginning of 2025. The tea has a red wine color and a distinct woody fragrance. When we were drinking at Liu's teahouse, the more we drank, the more we fell in love with his teas. The aftertaste is exceptionally pleasant and smooth, and it reminds us of the winter sunsets in Jinghong, when the environment prepares for sleep and relax.
