Overview
Unique ripe puerh tea from famous Menghai (勐海) tea region, which was processed in the autumn of 2010. The tea leaves come from mix of old tea trees and arbor tea trees (laoshu 老树, dashu 老树 a shengtai 生态) and was imported from Shanshan's tea mentor, Liang. Liang belongs to the Han ethnic group (汉族), which produces premium and limited tea editions from new and ancient tea mountains. The tea is sold in the form of tea paste (chagao 茶膏), which is suitable for long-term storage. Each portion weighs approximately 0,5-0,7 g (± 10%). Out of 10 kg of tea brewing, 1 kg of tea paste (chagao 茶膏) is made.
Tea taste profile (akt. 08-12-2024)
- Aroma: Caramel-leather scent with honey tones
- Colour: The tea changes between transparent red-brown-honey tones to darker caramel-red shades
- Taste: Boiled cereals and legumes (corn, wheat and bulgur), medicinal syrups (liquorice and cough syrup) and thic molasses with tones of forest honey
