Overview
Premium ripe pu-erh tea from the Jingmai tea mountain area (景迈), which was harvested in the autumn of 2013. The tea leaves come from old trees (dashu 大树) and were hand-picked and processed by Shanshan's cousin Yukan. Yukan belongs to the Bulang ethnic minority (布朗) and focuses on producing teas from the new tea mountains areas, particularly Bada (巴达), Bulang (布朗), Mengsong (勐宋) and Nannuo (南糯) mountain areas. The Jingmai teas (景迈) are often characterized by a distinctive cacao-chocolate and lily profile with flower-fruit tones. The tea is sold in the form of a sun-dried loose tea (shaiqing maocha 晒青毛茶), which is suitable for long-term storage.

Gift box
The gift boxes are offered in two options - black alluminium (100 g) and orange plastic (30 g). Dark gift box is made of waterproof aluminium, whereas orange gift box is made of hardened plastic. With this tea box, you'll be able to prevent oxidation, block light, and avoid other negative factors affecting the tea's flavour. The dark tea box features the Banna House logo and descriptive stickers, including recommended tea preparation, while the orange tea box has only a basic descriptive sticker. In the gift packages, you will find loose tea (shaiqing maocha 晒青毛茶) with a total weight of 100 g (± 5%) or 30 g (± 5%).

• Aroma:  A spicy-alcoholic hint with marmalade tones
• Colour: The tea transitions from transparent brown-caramel tones to darker brown-ochre shades
• Taste: A combination of spices (gingerbread spices and cinnamon), alcohol (Scotch whisky and local rum), and plum jam with woody notes
