Overview
Premium wulong tea from Yiwu Tea Mountain (易武) in Meizhan style (Meizhan 梅占), famous especially from Fujian (福建), Guangdong (广东) or Taiwan (台湾). The tea was pressed in the spring of 2024. The tea leaves come from mature tea trees (qiaomu 桥木) and were processed by Shanshan's tea mentor, Liang. Liang belongs to the Han ethnic group (汉族), which produces premium and limited tea editions from new and ancient tea mountains. The tea is sold as 100 g pressed cake (bingcha 饼茶), which is suitable for medium-term storage.

- Aroma: Sweet pastry and tropical flower scent with spicy tones
- Colour: The tea transitions from transparent yellow-ochre tones to darker golden-honey shades
- Taste: Fruity juice (peaches and apricots) and candied fruit turning into sweet honey tones

Note: We put Wulong tea (烏龍茶) into the category of Yunnan Hongcha (云南红茶), because it is very non-traditional and unique tea produced in few places in Xishuangbanna. Since the Xishuangbanna tea market is still developing, we would like to show the rich tea diversity and contemporary trends in the Yunnan tea market.
