Overview
Premium red tea from the Mensong tea mountain area (勐宋), which was harvested in the spring of 2024. The tea leaves come from ancient tea trees (gushu 古树) and were hand-picked and processed by Shanshan's cousin Yukan. Yukan belongs to the Bulang ethnic minority (布朗) and focuses on producing teas from the new tea mountains areas, Bada (巴达), Bulang (布朗), Mengsong (勐宋) a Nannuo (南糯). The Mengsong teas are often characterized by a fruity-flower taste with distinctive smoky tones. The tea is sold in the form of 100 g pressed tea cake (bingcha 饼茶), which is suitable for long-term storage. The tea cake is pressed in a way that you may easily break it into smaller pieces without using the tea knife or tea needle.

- Aroma: Intense fruity-flower fragrance with smoky-honey notes
- Colour: The tea changes from yellow-ochre tones to dark honey-brown shades
- Taste: Stone fruits (blueberries, blackberries and raspberries), flowers (cherries, apricots and sakura) and forest honey with a hint of toffee candies, cacao, sweet tobacco and spices
