Product detailed description
Overview
Premium red tea from the Leidashan village (雷达山) at the Nannuo Mountain (南糯), which was harvested in the spring of 2022. The tea leaves come from ancient tea trees (gushu 古树) and were hand-picked and processed by Shanshan's cousin Leer. Leer belongs to the Hani ethnic group (哈尼) and focuses on producing teas from Nannuo Tea Mountain (南糯). The Nannuo teas (南糯) are often characterized by distinctive distinctive fruity-flower profile. The tea is sold in the form of a sun-dried loose tea (shaiqing maocha 晒青毛茶), which is suitable for short-term storage.
Tea profile (akt. 23-10-2023)
- Aroma: Intense vegetable-honey scent with spicy tones
- Colour: The tea changes from transparent green-white-yellow tones to darker green-orange shades
- Taste: Fresh vegetables (cucumber and zucchini), herbs (nettles), hot spices (pepperoni red pepper) and dried fruits (plums and oranges) with sweet honey and smoky tones
