Product detailed description
Overview
The teacup holder (known as beijia 杯架) is a traditional tool that has been used for centuries to organize your teacups before and after your teatime. The teacup holder became especially popular during the Tang dynasty (618-907) and was made from various materials such as bamboo, metal, resin, clay or porcelain due to their water-resistant properties. Bamboo, known for its strength and natural resistance to moisture, is an ideal material for working with tea. The teacup holder is made from multiple pieces of bamboo that can hold up to twelve tea cups, which helps you to regularly clean and spill the left over water after some time. The teacup holder has an unlockable inner part for better maintenance, and it is commonly used during tea ceremonies to better organize and display your tea cups. Each piece is unique.
