Overview
The teacup tray (known as beidian 杯垫) is a traditional tool that has been used for centuries to hold the bottom part of your teaware. The teacup tray became especially popular during the Tang dynasty (618-907) and was made from various materials such as bamboo, metal, resin, clay or porcelain due to their water-resistant properties.
