The tea lit holder became especially popular during the Tang dynasty (618-907) and was made from various materials such as bamboo, metal, resin, clay or porcelain due to their water-resistant properties. Bamboo, known for its strength and natural resistance to moisture, is an ideal material for working with tea. The tea lit holder is made from one piece of crafted bamboo.
