Overview
The presentation scoop (known as chahe 茶荷) is a tool that has been used for centuries to display and transfer measured tea into the teaware. The chahe became especially popular during the Tang dynasty (618-907) and was made from various materials such as bamboo, metal, or porcelain due to their water-resistant properties. Bamboo, known for its strength and natural resistance to moisture, is an ideal material for working with tea. This tool is indispensable for any tea lover who wants to enjoy a pure infusion while appreciating traditional tea craftsmanship. The chahe is made from one piece of crafted bamboo. It has a well-shaped outer part that fits perfectly in the hand. The chahe is most commonly used during tea ceremonies and tea evaluations. Each piece is unique.
