Product detailed description
Overview
A stunning white tea from the Yibang Ancient Tea Mountain (倚邦), which was pressed in the spring of 2024. This tea was generously provided by Xu Yongping, one of the brothers from the famous Xu family (see Yibang Manor for more details), whom we met during our work trip to Xishuangbanna at the beginning of 2025. The tea has a deep dark golden-ochre color, more commonly found in aged white teas, and a distinct honey-orchid fragrance characteristic of this region. While this tea reminds us of some of the pressed white teas from Xu Yongwei, tea lovers will definitely appreciate its tea slice form (xiaofangpian 小方片), which can make your tea preparation easier.
Tea profile (akt. 31-03-2025)
