Overview
Royal white tea from the Yibang Tea Mountain (倚邦), which was harvested in the spring of 2022. The tea leaves come from ancient tea trees (gushu 古树) and were processed by Yibang Manor (倚邦庄园) tea factory, which was established in 2014 by Shanshan's classmate Yongwei. Yongwei belongs to the Yi ethnic group (彝族), which produces premium and royal quality teas from ancient tea mountains. His production belongs to one of the best from Xishuangbanna, which you can currently find at us. The tea is sold in the form of loose tea (maocha 毛茶), which is suitable for long-term storage.
Tea profile (akt. 15-07-2024)
- Aroma: Intense fruity fragrance (peaches, nectarines and apricots) with citruses-flower notes
- Colour: The tea changes from transparent golden-ochre tones to dark honey shades
- Taste: Fresh citruses (lemon and lime), juicy fruits (peaches and nectarines) and sweet pastry (lemon sponge cake and cookies with lemon icing) turning into flowers (roses and lilies) and sweet herbal tones (lemon grass, linden, rose hip and cranberries)
