| After a month-long work trip in Xishuangbanna in Spring 2025, we want to share another piece of Xishuangbanna tea culture!
| This time, we would like to talk about Yukan, a farmer from Manwa village (曼佤) on the Bada Tea Mountain (巴达), who source her teas teas from six new tea mountains (Xinliudachashan 新六大茶山). During our work trip to Xishuangbanna in early 2025, we met her several times and tasted various teas from Menghai area (勐海).
| What is behind her teas? How her teas taste? From where she source her teas? And what are the current challenges of making teas in Menghai area? During the presentation, we will taste four teas from Bada (巴达) and Bulang (布朗) Tea Mountains to better understand the common traits and growing demand for Menghai teas (勐海).
